PDW Approach to Energy-Efficient, Climate-Responsive Design

PDW is grateful to have been part of these projects and supported the broader shift toward energy-efficient and climate-responsive building practices in Indonesia.

Alamanda Tower, Jakarta International Stadium, and Grha Unilever received Greenship Awards 2025 this year, awarded to their respective owners for the buildings’ long-term environmental performance. PDW is grateful to have been part of these projects and supported the broader shift toward energy-efficient and climate-responsive building practices in Indonesia. This award was presented by Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI).

PDW_Jakarta International Stadium

Jakarta International Stadium received Best Greenship Performance New Building at Greenship Awards 2025.

As architects of record for Alamanda Tower and Grha Unilever, and as the main architect team of Jakarta International Stadium, PDW was present when key design decisions were established, choices that continue to influence how these buildings respond to daylight, heat, airflow, and the evolving climate of a tropical city.

PDW_Alamanda Office Tower

Alamanda Tower received Best Green Commitment at Greenship Awards 2025.

PDW_Grha Unilever BSD

Grha Unilever (BSD) received Best Greenship Performance Existing Building at Greenship Awards 2025.

Alamanda Tower has remained steady as Simatupang corridor transformed. JIS shows how simple, climate-responsive principles can operate effectively at a civic scale. Grha Unilever continues to demonstrate how daylight and openness integration shape a resilient workplace environment.

These recognitions belong to the owners, who have carried these buildings through their evolving journeys, and we are grateful to have contributed to the process that shaped these projects. These acknowledgements affirm PDW’s long-term value of thoughtful early design and the importance of supporting Indonesia’s growing green building movement.
