Intermediate Urban Designer

Full Time

We are seeking an experienced, creative and skilled Urban Designer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for design and develop a prominent urban design and built environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generates planning and design ideas, conducts high-level research, identifies and documents precedents and relevant scale studies, develops diagrams, renders site plans, and contributes to all manner of graphic and visual production
  • Actively participates as a core member of Urban Design team and work closely with Senior Urban Designer to deliver the project
  • Exhibits initiative, process innovation, and problem solving, at an overall project level.
  • Effectively communicates internally with project teams and other design disciplines and externally with consultants and clients through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means.
  • Demonstrates of planning and other regulation codes knowledge and other standards for project compliance.
  • Manages time and workload of own work efforts and those of others to meet project task deadlines and commitments,

 

Requirements

  • Professional Degree in Architecture, Planning, or Urban design
  • Professional licensure process is close to completion; SKA in Architecture/Planning strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Significant experience in large-scale planning, to small scale urban design project
  • Demonstrates expertise in AutoCAD, Sketchup, GIS and rendering software, and other graphic software as well as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Microsoft Office;
  • Good in English, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated working in a fast-paced, intensely collaborative professional environment, time-management skills, and high motivation to learn

Portfolios and work samples must be submitted together with application letter to be reviewed and mailed to  hc@pdw.co.id.

Portfolios should be one PDF attachment, between 10-20 pages, maximum 5 MB.
