Multimedia Nusantara School Phase 2 Groundbreaking

Multimedia Nusantara School (MNS) officially commenced the groundbreaking of Phase 2 (Buildings B, C, and D) on 9 February 2026, marking the next phase of its campus development. The expansion supports the upcoming opening of the Junior High School and Senior High School levels.

Phase 2 introduces Buildings B, C, and D as structured extensions of the initial development. From the outset, Phase 1 was conceived not as a standalone building, but as the first component of a phased campus strategy. Its spatial organisation, circulation logic, and facade approach were developed to anticipate long-term expansion.

With the commencement of Phase 2, these foundational principles are extended rather than replaced.

The new buildings are organised around a shared plaza that connects Buildings A, B, C, and D. This central space acts as the primary organising element of the campus, supporting continuity in movement and reinforcing collective identity. The expansion maintains clarity of circulation and preserves the legibility established in the first phase.

As a private school serving a wider area, the campus experiences concentrated arrival and dismissal periods within short daily timeframes. The phased development strategy allows additional capacity to be integrated while maintaining operational stability. Circulation networks are extended carefully to ensure that peak-hour movement remains organised within the site boundary.

Architecturally, Phase 2 continues the environmental and facade strategies introduced in Phase 1. Classroom placement and secondary facade systems remain aligned with the passive design approach established earlier, supporting daylight access and visual comfort while mitigating glare and heat. This continuity ensures that the campus evolves through extension of performance-driven principles.

The groundbreaking of Buildings B, C, and D represents a measured progression of the masterplan. Through phased implementation, PDW continues to guide the campus development in a manner that balances growth, operational clarity, and architectural consistency.
